Healthcare Practitioners Registration & Licensing Department of the Kingdom of Qatar now accepting applications from Homoeopathy, Ayurveda and other CAM practitioners.

The Healthcare Practitioners Registration & Licensing Department in Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners (QCHP) regulates the healthcare work in the governmental and private sectors, such as the registration and licensing of those healthcare practitioners who wish to work in the healthcare sectors in the State of Qatar with the objective of upgrading levels of targeted healthcare services in order to maintain the health of visitors and patients of these sectors, and to adopt unified policies approved by QCHP, regardless of the certificate’s origin or the applicant’s home country.

Registration and licensing of healthcare practitioners in different specializations which include:

• Physicians
• Dentists
• Pharmacists
• Nurses
• Allied Healthcare Practitioners
• A framework for registration and licensing of Complementary& Alternative Medicine (CAM)through Healthcare Practitioners Registration & Licensing Department is under development

To register onto the Registration/Licensing Electronic System –
New Applicant:

1) Visit the website – http://www.qchp.org.qa/en/Pages/default.aspx

2) Click “Login to Medical Licensing Registration system “

3) Click “Sign Up for New Applicant”

4) Enter all the mandatory details (indicates by *) and click “Sign Up” button (Make sure the Email id is valid since you will need to activate it after the account has been created)
