Fellowship Program VTH-TATA TRUST TRIBAL/RURAL MEDICAL FELLOWSHIP PROGRAMME AT RKSS-VTH, JAGDALPUR, BASTAR Opportunity: Excellent opportunity to learn, innovate, study, and conduct independent research work & also publish under the expert guidance of top academic professors, medical specialist, technologist drawn from top Indian university/Institute/centers and; Place of work: Explore rural India, villages etc; work in village level clinics and community with all clinical, OT, lab facilities, including biotechnology lab; ICT & Medical electronics lab. Purpose: To gain the first hand knowledge about rural India, find the need based technological solutions, develop or innovate appropriate/affordable treatment & management protocol with a broad aim to improve maternal-child health including prevention of cancer that is afflicting Rural and tribal India and other developing countries. The Fellowship will be for a period of 12 – 24 months may be extendable. Support The fellowship will cover the following: (a) A fellowship of Rs. 20000/- per month consolidated. (b) VTH will facilitate the boarding and lodging arrangement within or outside campus. Eligibility: Female doctors with small town/rural/tribal background preferred, Fellowship for doctors: Any undergraduate or post graduate with medical qualification ( MBBS, BAMS, BHMS, BIMS etc with minimum 6 months experience; preferably those having MD/ PG- Diploma, etc & experience in obstetrics/gynecology, public health, pediatrics, general medicine , anesthesia etc, will be eligible to apply for this fellowship.
