If allopathy doctors refuse, appoint homoeopaths for PHCs, govt. urged Union Minister of State for AYUSH (Independent charge) Shripad Yesso Naik has asked the State governments to appoint homoeopathy doctors to serve at Primary Health Centres in rural areas if doctors from the allopathic stream were reluctant to go there. Also, while appointing homoeopathy doctors, the government should ensure that the salary given to them was at par with what is given to an allopathic doctor in government hospitals. He said the government looked forward to create facility to ensure healthcare services to every citizen at an affordable price.
