Position Code: PHFI-ASCO-3 Position Title: Programme Coordinator Location: Gurgaon Duration of Position: One year initially (to be extended based on performance of the incumbent or need of the project) Brief on the Organization: The Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) is working towards building a healthier India. It is helping to address the limited institutional and systems capacity in India by strengthening education and training, advancing research and technology and facilitating policy and practice in the area of Public Health. PHFI is headquartered in New Delhi with national presence through its constituent units of regional Indian Institutes of Public Health (IIPHs) and Centres of Applied Research in core public health themes. The Foundation, established in 2006 as a public private initiative, is governed by an independent board comprising of senior government officials, eminent Indian and International academic and leaders, civil society representatives and corporate leaders. Project Brief: CCEBDM is a Certificate Course in Evidence Based Diabetes Management to apprise the primary care Physicians with latest developments in the field of Diabetes management and to deal with it more efficiently in their day to day undertakings. Deliverables: • Management and coordination of all components of Diabetes training program conducted in the framework of an interdisciplinary multi-partner collaboration across the country. • Serve as associate focal point for the program secretariat for communication with renowned National Faculty, Regional Training Centers (Faculty and Participants) and Partner Institutions. • Play an integral Role in organizing and managing resource intensive National and Regional Level Meetings; this involves human resource and logistical issues. • Support overall field operations related to implementation of the program (i.e. invitations, enrollments, regional meetings and workshops, documentation, visit coordination, workshop planning etc.) • Prepare and disseminate an advanced program implementation plan including critical key activities and milestones, time lines, resources requirement and ultilization plan for key components, structure/mechanism to identify bottlenecks, develop algorithms to keep track of process and progress of program. • Prepare and disseminate in-advance micro-plans for regional faculties and participants for perfect conduct of training sessions at regional centers across the country with seamless networking for real time coordination and communication between partners. • Coordinating with the partners, sponsors, national and regional faculty and trainees to ensure that critical issues are addressed in a timely manner. • Conduct spot and random checks and monitoring field visits for quality assurance. • Attend and participate in stakeholders meetings, and other meetings as needed. • Report on a day to day basis to the Project Manager regarding project and seek timely advice wherever necessary. • Contribute to writing documentation papers and reports. • Communication for program secretariat to communicate with renowned National Faculty, Regional Training Centers (Faculty and Participants) and Partner Institutions. • Play an integral Role in organizing and managing resource intensive National and Regional Level Meetings; this involves human resource and logistical issues. • Coordinating with the partners, sponsors, national and regional faculty and trainees to ensure that critical issues are addressed in a timely manner • Attend and participate in stakeholders meetings, and other meetings as needed. • Conducting and coordinating overall field operations related to implementation of the program (i.e. invitations, enrolments, regional meetings and workshops, documentation, visit coordination, workshop planning etc.) • Preparing and disseminating of an advanced program implementation plan including critical key activities and milestones, time lines, resources requirement and utilization plan for key components, structure/mechanism to identify bottlenecks, develop algorithms to keep track of process and progress of program. • Preparing and disseminating in-advance micro-plans for regional faculties and participants for perfect conduct of training sessions at regional centers across the country with seamless networking for real time coordination and communication between partners. • Conducting spot and random checks and monitoring field visits for quality assurance. • Draft program progress reports, as well as any other reports as per the requirement of the program or as designated by Sr. Program Coordinator. • Writing documentation papers and reports • Any other task as assigned by the Program Manager & Project PI. Qualification: Essential • Post graduate degree in Public Health/PGDHM/PGDPHM with Public Health Experience. Desirable • Experience of conduction of training and development of training material, proposal writing, project management, experience of the liaison with the diverse stake holder desirable. • Field experience of working in public health, private sector and National Rural Health Mission desirable. Person working in National level Training program in non-communicable disease (NCD’s) esp. Diabetes will be an added advantage Experience: • Minimum 3-4 years of experience required. Annual Salary (CTC) will be approximately Rs.750,000/- and will be based on the available skills and fitment of the incumbent as per the selection process.
