Ltd. (SPC) is supporting National Health Mission (NHM) in Madhya Pradesh to recruit Seven Divisional Consultant, Quality Assurance on contractual basis. The detail of the position and application procedure is mentioned below. Background: The National Health Mission (NHM) has been launched by the Government of India for the period 2012 – 2017 to enhance the orbit of comprehensive primary health care services especially for the poor and vulnerable sections of the communities. Madhya Pradesh has achieved substantial improvement in health indicators during the current phase of the Mission, still improvement in the quality of services remain a challenge. NHM has created a structure for quality assurance at state, divisional and district level to implement the national quality standards and accredit the health institutions on quality parameters. National Health Mission, Madhya Pradesh is inviting applications for the following position on contractual basis. The details of position and essential qualifications are as under: Post: Divisional Consultant, Quality Assurance No. of Positions: 7 Reporting to: Divisional Joint Director, Health Services. Place of Posting: At Bhopal, Indore, Ujjain, Jabalpur, Rewa, Sagar and Gwalior. Salary: 40000/- Duration of Contract: One Year which may be renewed every year based on performance. Educational Qualification & Experience: Essential: • MBBS or BAMS/ BHMS/ BUMS or BDS • PG degree / PG diploma in Public Health of Health Management or Hospital Administration. • Over all 2 years of experience in public health preferably in health quality assurance. OR • PG degree / PG diploma in Public Health of Health Management or Hospital Administration. • Over all 3 years of experience in public health preferably in health quality assurance. Roles and Responsibilities: 1. Coordinate and promoting quality related activities and advocacy across the division. 2. To assist, support and conduct Assessment and scoring of Public Health facilities in the district. 3. Grading of healthcare facilities on the basis of score in the district CH.CHC & PHC. 4. Ensuring that Div. QAC meets regularly and follow – up actions have been taken. 5. Selecting facilities that may go for Certification and supporting them in the process. 6. Estimating district’s requirements (in terms of structure, Process and outputs) for improving quality of healthcare services & coordinate with SQAU. 7. Review the status of QA activities at different facilities in the division. 8. To provide support to facilities in the division in taking appropriate and time-bound actions on closure of the gaps, indentified during assessments. 9. Conducting workshops and training at divisional and district level on QA and certification of healthcare facilities. 10. To provide technical assistance to health facilities in achieving compliance to statutory requirements such as Atomic Energy Act & AERB Guidelines, Blood bank, PC PNDT act, BMW Rules, etc. in the district. 11. To review the Patient’s and employee’s satisfaction from different facilities, subsequently develop an action plan to address the concerns of patients, which led to poor satisfaction. 12. Advice on the further development of QA and Certification across health facilities in the District. 13. To attend to any other duties/responsibilities assigned by the SQAU & SQAC. 14. Monitoring of recording/reporting system through field visits and submit the visit reports with appropriate suggestions/actions for improvement.
