JOB DESCRIPTION Position Title: Field Program Officer Location: Yavatmal/ Gangakhed/ Netrang/ Jasdan/ Seoni/ Jamai/ Sawai Madhopur/ Banswara Reporting to: Field Program Officer Organization profile: India is a nation of a billion dreams, a billion aspirations and above all great opportunities. Reliance Foundation works with some of the most vulnerable and marginalized communities across India, with the objective of integrating them into mainstream development process of the country. The Foundation focuses its efforts on five core pillars of Rural Transformation, Education, Health, Urban Renewal and Arts, Culture & Heritage. Position overview: Field Program Officers will be in charge of ground level implementation of the program including all logistics, coordination, data collection and data management and will work closely with village level health workers. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: • Implementation of project operational plans • Organizing and conducting capacity building workshops • Field level mentoring support and supportive supervision to Village Health Worker • Facilitate co-ordination with local health authorities, health providers, village/ district stakeholders/VFA /BIJ cluster team for effective project roll out • Development of village level micro plans , referral directories and referral pathway • Organize and conduct need based health camps in select villages • Data compilation and ensure correctness of data • Coordinate cluster level supply chain management • Co-ordinate and collectivize villagers to form village gats and village health societies • Facilitate addressing any technical issues identified by the Village Health Worker • Identify success stories and facilitate documentation • Participate in research activities and community need assessment surveys • Any other work as assigned by supervisor Educational Qualifications and experience: a) Must haves / Essential: • PG Nurse- Specializing in Paed/OBGY • BSc Nursing with 2 years’ experience • Ability to travel 20 days/month, within district b) Preferred: Previous experience in public health programs in rural setting Key Competencies: Thorough understanding of local community and their challenges, fluency in local language, ability to work side by side along with community members and leaders.
