Kerala HC requested state Govt. to re-consider denial of pay to External PG teachers

Kerala High Court disposed four petitions filed by the External PG Homoeopathy teachers of the Dr Padiyar Homoeopathy Medical Colleges and ANSS Homoeopathy Medical College. Kottayam. Currently UGC scale of pay is given only to regular MD teachers in Kerala. ” The matter shall be re-considered by the Government of Kerala after affording opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioners and also taking note of the views expressed by the Universities Concerned. A fresh decision in this regard may be taken by the Government on account of benefit given to Dr Muraleedharan”. Court also pointed out that University regulations are against the Section 33(1) (j) and schedule 2 of the Homoeopathy Central Council Act 1973 Download the judgment copy Probably the state government will forward the matter to the KUHS (Kerala University of Health Sciences) – since course equalization is under the preview of Universities. Earlier KUHS Academic Council rejected the proposal to equalize External PG with MD in Homoeopathy. @http://www.homeobook.com/kerala-hc-requested-state-govt-to-re-consider-denial-of-pay-to-external-pg-teachers/
