The Union is seeking qualified local candidates for the position of Coordinator, Urban TB, Project Axshya, based at New Delhi and Pune
The post holder will report to the Medical Consultant - Urban TB and Technical Officer - Project Management Unit, Union South-East Asia Office 

Travel: As necessary (up to 50% of time) within the country. 

General Scope of Work:
The Coordinator, Urban TB is responsible for identifying and building a network of private qualified health care providers (Qualified Private Practitioners/ Private Hospitals/Private Labs) and coordinate their engagement towards identification, notification and treatment of all forms of tuberculosis patients especially in Key Affected Populations (KAP). 

Key Deliverables

• Mapping of key affected populations in urban areas (slums, migrants, PLHIV etc) and coordinating active case finding (Axshya SAMVAD) amongst them.
• Identify and map Specialists (MD, MS etc), MBBS doctors, AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Siddha and Homeopath), Private Labs and Private Hospitals in assigned urban sites. 
• Sensitize and advocate with private providers for complying with STCI guidelines and notification of all form of TB Patients. 
• Ensure engagement of identified private health care providers in Axshya activities.
• Coordinate with RNTCP for implementing project Axshya activities in urban settings.
• Ensure monthly collection of data/reporting formats (Notification) from all engaged private health care providers. 
• Supervise Community Volunteer to ensure regular follow-up with the TB patients identified through private health care providers for treatment completion.
• Responsible for timely submission of reports for the project activities 
• Any other task assigned by supervisor time to time. 
• Perform other relevant duties as required by the Project Director and Regional Director of The Union South East-Asia Office.

Qualification and Experience:

• Graduate with 3-5 years of experience /Post graduate with minimum 1-3 years of experience in Pharmaceutical sales and public health program. 
• Experience of working with private health care providers 
• Experience in capacity building /mentoring.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Knowledge of Hindi and at least one other Indian regional language would be an advantage.
• Strong oral and written communication, consultation and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to successfully manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Capacity to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment with tact and diplomacy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 

Desirable:
• Experience of working as Medical Representative with reputed pharmaceutical companies 
• Experience of working with National TB Programme (RNTCP) and National / International organisations will be an advantage.
